GUIDED FOREST WALK
This is a relaxing trip, which enables you to see our neighborhood with cultural bomas and different plants, Monkeys and bird species on the way whilst stretching your legs. Its 2km from the lodge. This walk can be accompanied by our experienced tour guide.
MARKET/CITY TOUR
Our guided town/market tour is customized based on what you want to see. here the excursion will take place by using the either a shuttle or public transport to Arusha Town (we'll let you decide) and during this trip you can visit markets, mosques, churches, shops and other interesting areas. After a long day you will stop by to a local restaurant for a tasty meal.
LOCAL GROWER'S COFFEE TOUR
Coffee was one of Tanzania’s major exports. While this has lessened, coffee growing is still widespread across the region. This trip will provide you with the opportunity to meet with local coffee growers, learn about the history, and participate in all the processes involved in making your own cup of coffee, including picking, roasting, and grinding the beans.
RAFIKI COOKING LESSON
Learn to cook variety of Swahili dishes including green banana (famous dish in northern part),ugali and you can meet Mama Dayana famous known as a watery taste woman, she’s the mother of one of Directors. She makes wonderful dishes and delicious bites, a short history on this, she has been making these throughout till now and it has been one of her source of income to raise our Director.
WATER FALL TRIP
Spectacular views await along the way. There are various waterfalls scattered around the region. We're delighted to take you to either Napuru, Materuni, or Engaresero waterfalls... the choice is yours!
